We love this centennial building nestled at the corner of King and Portland. It's a members only club, but don't worry we can get you in.

Wedding Ceremony

The Spoke Club - Portland Room, 2nd floor

Officiated by the lovely Helen Sweet. The most important 30 minutes of the day (our lives). Don't miss it!

Cocktail time!

Unless something goes horribly wrong, we will be Mr & Mrs by this point - so let’s start celebrating! We may need to go take a few pictures in the snow, but otherwise, we’ll be getting our cocktail on.

Delicious Dinner

The Spoke Club - Dining Room, 4th floor

We are excited about this specially tailored Spoke menu, with a mix of Indian and Western flavors, you shan’t be disappointed.

Things you may be wondering

What about the gifts?

Living in the très cool Toronto core, we cultivate a minimalist lifestyle (you have to in 800 square feet). We thought of registering but couldn't come up with anything we needed or wanted. Your presence is our gift, but were you so generous to get us something, we would kindly ask please no boxed gifts.

What about the kids?

The venue we've chosen isn't ideal for kids. However we recognize that a number of our friends and family who are traveling have little ones. If you cannot make other arrangements kindly let us know and we will make sure to keep them entertained at the event.

What about the wedding party?

We each decided to choose one dear friend to stand by our side on this day. Oh, and an exquisite little girl to throw some flowers!

Ben Van Dongen - Best man & Witness
“I met Ben in grade 9 and he’s been a thorn in my side ever since.“ - Arvin

Justine Noiseux - Maid of honor & Witness
"She's a Lady. Whoa whoa whoa, She's a Lady." - Caroline

Lou Habib - The Flower girl
“Every morning, we wake up to her exquisite rendition of the classic "I like to move it" as our alarm clock tone. Of course she’s our flower girl” - Caroline & Arvin

Things to do while you're in Toronto

  • #1 Shopping on Queen Street West

Men and women clothing stores are hard to resist on this trip! The best shopping is between Bathurst and Bellwoods.

  • #2 Ripleys Aquarium of Canada

Recently opened, this aquarium is tons of fun - especially for families. You can even pet a stingray! What!

  • #3 TIFF Bell Lightbox

The mecca of the Toronto Film Festival! If you have a few hours to spare in a dark room, this place hosts the best of art house cinema. Also, they are hosting a Stanley Kubrick exhibition!

Caroline & Arvin love ping pong (a lot) and will challenge you at the wedding.
Caroline has more photos of random animals on her phone that she does of Arvin.

We hope to see you there!
